Our Commitment

LGM Health Advisory is committed to ensuring that our website, lgmhealthadvisory.org, is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability, technology, or circumstance. We believe that everyone, including people with visual, auditory, cognitive, motor, or other disabilities, deserves equal access to healthcare information and advisory services.

What We Are Doing

To make our website as accessible as possible, we are working toward the following standards:

Sufficient color contrast: We use colour combinations that meet or exceed the minimum contrast ratios recommended by WCAG 2.1 Level AA, making text readable for users with low vision or colour blindness.

Resizable text: Our website is designed so that text can be resized up to 200 percent without loss of content or functionality.

Responsive design: Our website is designed to work across a range of devices including desktops, tablets, and mobile phones, and to reflow content appropriately at different screen sizes.

No reliance on color alone: We do not use color as the sole means of conveying information, indicating an action, or distinguishing a visual element.

No content that flashes excessively: We do not include content that flashes more than three times per second, which can trigger seizures in people with photosensitive conditions.

Known Limitations

We recognize that our website may not yet be fully accessible in every respect. We are a growing firm and we are improving our digital presence on an ongoing basis. Current known limitations include:

Some older PDF documents on our site, including advisory notes, may not yet be fully tagged for screen reader compatibility. We are working to address this progressively as documents are updated.
Some embedded third-party content, such as contact or scheduling widgets, may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control. We are reviewing these and seeking accessible alternatives where possible.

We are committed to resolving these issues in a reasonable timeframe and will update this statement as improvements are made.
